A slender, cylindrical neck rises from the upper sphere, terminating in a small, softly rounded lip that provides a delicate visual counterpoint to the vase's otherwise substantial, grounded mass. The surface is left entirely unglazed, its raw terracotta body exposed to reveal a richly weathered, mottled patina ranging from deep charcoal-gray to warm sandy tan and soft ochre, the color variation created by natural firing effects and the accumulated patina of age rather than applied decoration.
