Design Plus Gallery presents the PH 5 Pendant by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen. Designed in 1958, the PH 5 is one of the most recognized examples of Scandinavian modern lighting. Henningsen developed the pendant around his three-shade system to distribute light downward and laterally while minimizing glare. The sculptural fixture is composed of layered metal shades in white, accented by a red interior ring and slender metal supports. Its concentric construction directs and reflects illumination through multiple surfaces, creating the distinctive appearance associated with the PH series. The ceiling mounting plates are missing. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in Denmark.
