Rome, 22 September 1966. 1p front and back, on headed paper of the “Prose Company: Giorgio De Lullo, Rossella Falk, Romolo Valli, Elsa Albani. 1966-1967 season. XIII since the establishment of the I.S.I. company '' and at the bottom of the page it bears the heading ''Artistic Direction: Giorgio De Lullo - Romolo Valli''. 21x29 cm. Perfect state. Letter of thanks, invitation for the debut in Venice and request for the purchase or donation of a work in the possession of Blunt. The Teatro La Cometa, courtesy of the Countess Blunt, hosted the ''Compagnia dei Giovani'' for the entire month of September of '66, intent on rehearsing the hilarious sixteenth-century comedy, ''La Calandria'', by Cardinal da Bibbiena, which will scene in Venice. During rehearsals, director De Lullo is mesmerized by a watercolor by Madeleine Lemaire, who was the illustrator of Proust's “Les Plaisirs et les jours”. “For the Proustian reference it contains”, Valli would like to give it to the director, as well as life partner, Giorgio De Lullo and asks for it's value. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
