Church of the Gesù in Rome is an original etching artwork, realized by Giovan Battista Falda, at the bottom, just below the image, the inscription in Italian '' Church dedicated to the name of Jesu de fathers giesuiti in the district of the pine cone - the facade of Giacomo Architecture of the door''. The state of preservation of the artwork is very good. Image Container: 49 x 70 cm. Image Dimensions: 17 x 29cm The artwork Represents the Church of the Jesus of Rome. Not Signed. Others inscriptions: '' 1 - Professed House of the Jesuits - 2 - Palazzo di San Marco '', on the lower left; '' Gio.Batta Falda dis. et made - Gio.Iacomo Rofsi in Rome to Peace co Priu of S.P '', on the lower center; '' 3 - Plazzo of lords Alfieri - 4 - House of the Lords Petronij '', on the lower right. Giovanni Battista Falda (Valduggia, 1643 - Rome, 1678) was an Italian engraver, who documented architectures and urban planning in Rome in the second half of the seventeenth century. Born in the province of Vercelli, he soon Showed a passion for drawing. He was thus Placed in the workshop of a local painter, and then, at the age of 14, sent to Rome to stay at his uncle's, who spoke about him to Gian Lorenzo Bernini. He Studied Also with Giovanni Giacomo De Rossi. From De Rossi, the adolescent Falda acquired in '' urban '' education, and he worked with him, His mentor, All his short life. He died at thirty-five and was buried in Santa Maria della Scala. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations
