This is a Danish Modern, high-back, reclining lounge chair and ottoman set designed by Søren Ladefoge for Slagelse Møbelværk circa the 1960s. The well-balanced frame is crafted from solid teak in a rich tone with beautiful grain that is defined by flowing lines of the armrests that extend into the front legs. The chair adjusts manually from upright to one reclining position by easily moving the seat back to an alternate rung. The matching ottoman is angled and tapered for a continous design and maximum comfort. The set and matching pillow are newly upholstered in a deep olive textured bouclé that is luxurious to the touch. It's a refined Scandinavian Modern choice of lounge seating that will add comfortable elegance to any setting.
