Figures at Exhibitions Palace is an original color drawing on paper, by the Italian satiric illustrator, Gabriele Galantara (Montelupone, Italy, 1867 - Rome, 1937). A China ink and watercolored drawing on paper, representing a couple looking at the just opened Exhibitions Palace in Rome (around 1883). In excellent conditions, with vivid colors. Gabriele Galantara (Montelupone, 1865 - Rome, 1937) Gabriele Galantara was a journalist and one of the leading Italian caricaturists and satirical designers, illustrator of ''L'Asino'' review. Rata-Langa, A.A. Lagrant, Blitz and Grottesco were his art-names. The stroke of his drawing was marked and decisive, of an expressionist style. He was also a collaborator of the Italian Socialist Party newspaper ''L'Avanti!''. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
