Brimming with character, these multi-dimensional statement pieces are an exceptional find for discerning collectors of grandmillennial decor, maximalist interiors, or eclectic art pottery. Each vase features a heavily textured, molded relief basketweave pattern along the main body, beautifully grounded by a hand-painted cascade of encrusted, applied porcelain florals in soft pastel shades of pink, lavender, and sky blue. The true showstoppers of these pieces are the three-dimensional, playfully modeled white porcelain cats wrapping around the vessels. One curious feline climbs along the shoulder to form a dramatic handle, while another is sculpted on its back along the pedestal base, playfully supporting the weight of the basket with its paws. Finished with an elegant, gilded Greek key border around the smooth rim, this rare, unmarked pair effortlessly bridges classical European porcelain techniques with joyful, conversational artistry. Perfect for a mantelpiece, a curated bookcase, or a stylized vanity.
