Produced in Copenhagen during the mid-20th century, this piece captures the quiet elegance of a resting deer with remarkable realism and tenderness. The soft taupe and ivory glaze enhances the lifelike modeling, creating a subtle interplay of light across its smooth surface. Every detail—from the gentle curve of the body to the alert, expressive gaze—reflects the precision and sensitivity that define Jensen’s finest works. The porcelain bears the hallmark of Dahl Jensen, Copenhagen, known for producing some of Denmark’s most accomplished animal figurines. Both serene and sculptural, this deer embodies Scandinavian artistry at its most poetic, balancing technical perfection with emotional depth. A timeless decorative object that brings grace and calm to any setting, ideal for collectors of fine Danish porcelain or admirers of classic Nordic design. See less
