This elegant pair of 19th-century French andirons, dating to circa 1860, showcases the artistry and craftsmanship of the period. Made of wrought iron, these andirons feature an exquisite scrollwork design, gracefully curving into a stylized fleur-de-lis motif at the top. The openwork structure allows for both aesthetic appeal and functional heat circulation, making them an ideal addition to any fireplace.
Resting on sturdy curved feet, the andirons exhibit a timeless patina, adding to their authenticity and historical charm. The rear support bars extend to accommodate logs while maintaining stability. Their robust construction ensures durability, making them as practical as they are decorative.
Perfect for a traditional or period-inspired interior, these andirons bring a touch of French elegance and old-world craftsmanship to any hearth. Whether displayed in use or as a decorative statement, they serve as a striking example of 19th-century ironwork.
