Elegant vintage-style clear glass oil lamp featuring a distinctive ribbed, bulbous reservoir, original-style metal burner assembly, and tall transparent glass chimney.
The substantial glass base has vertically fluted/ribbed detailing that beautifully catches and reflects light, while the softly tapered chimney creates an appealing traditional silhouette. The metal gallery and burner components add a warm, utilitarian character.
A versatile decorative accent for a country house, traditional interior, farmhouse, cottage, lodge, library, dining room, mantel, or entry console. Particularly attractive displayed alongside books, collected objects, brass accents, or other vintage lighting and tabletop pieces.
The lamp has a wonderful combination of functional 19th/early-20th-century-inspired form and decorative glasswork, making it equally suitable as a display object or, subject to inspection and appropriate servicing, a functional oil lamp.
