The sculpture captures a mallard in an expressive takeoff or landing pose, with a rich green head, warm chestnut-brown breast, detailed feathering, golden-yellow bill and feet, and layered dark wings.

The sculptural detailing gives the feathers considerable depth and dimension.
The duck is mounted on a substantial tiered wood-tone display base, making it an especially effective statement piece for a console, entry table, library, study, lodge, country home, sunroom, or curated natural-history-inspired interior.

Its combination of wildlife subject matter, sculptural movement, and traditional decorative styling makes it well suited to rustic, lodge, traditional, English country, Americana, or eclectic interiors. See less
