A small, functional lug or knob sits just below the neck, adding a subtle sculptural detail that breaks up the smooth transition between neck and body. The entire surface is coated in a rich, olive-toned glaze, its deep, earthy tone punctuated by a fine, even network of crazing that speaks convincingly to the piece's genuine age and traditional glazing technique.
