Has 9 fenestrated brass ‘peacock feathers’ that fan out from the center. The reflection of the flames through the screen is exquisite. It even looks pretty when the fire is out. The feathers collapse into the center for convenient storage. There is a twin gargoyle base and finial. There are side brackets that hold the feathers in place. In excellent condition with slight period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. Feathers work smoothly. No dents. There is no serious damage or repairs.
