Hand-signed and dated overleaf: G.Lo Fermo 2020. Perfect conditions. The artwork is a wonderful abstract composition. The surface is occupied by several blue circles in contrast with the red of the background. Lo Fermi''s work is a reinterpretation and and elaboration of and art movement born after World War II: Abstract Expressionism like the title of this artwork. This painting is deeply connected to the artists of Abstract Expressionism, such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman. Their creations are composed by basic compositions with simplified shapes, sometimes with large areas of colors to produce a meditational response in the viewer. See less
