Derriere Le Miroir is a suite of original lithographs realized by Alberto Giacometti in 1961. The artwork is an interesting edition of the French art periodical “Derriere Le Miroir” no. 127 that includes 14 lithographs two double-page published by Maeght Editeur, Paris. in 1961. Text in French. It is art of a limited edition of 2000 copies. Very good conditions. The lithographs were created during a period in which Giacometti, realized artworks reflecting understatement and stability of the composition, giving rise to an atmosphere of serenity. Despite the manifest tranquility, the prints are characterized by rapid execution. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price.
