A Steuben blown glass compote made in Corning, New York, around 1920. The wide, shallow bowl is blown in Steuben's signature jade green and set on an alabaster opaline stem and foot, a pairing the company used to let the two colors play off each other. The rim is folded rather than cut, a hand-finishing technique typical of the period. Unmarked.
