Late 19th / early 20th century made of King's wood and Tulip wood, in Louis XV Style. It is as beautiful as it is practical, featuring a flip top lid in the center that has a mirror on the underside. Below it on the outside is a wide drawer in the middle, with an additional sliding pullout surface which is covered with gilt tooled leather. Middle drawers are flanked with three additional drawers, a pair of smaller ones on the right side, while the left side has a single drawer, however there is another "faux drawer" on the outside, while on the inside there is a secret compartment when the necessaire box tray is pulled up and out. All drawers are quality dovetailed, with great quality secondary wood, all having their original bronze / brass hardware. Vanity is finished on all four sides, so it does not need to go against the wall. Good Condition, shows light use / age wear, it was recently polished (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere in your house, apartment or office at 36" wide, 20" deep, the height is 29.5", while the knee clearance is 21.75" in height. Great piece that can be used as a regular writing desk or vanity with mirror above, it will work in any traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
