The sections can also be disconnected and separated, an unusual and versatile feature of the design.

The sculptural iron frame features sweeping arms and elegant interlacing curves across the back. The frame was painted at some point in its history; the existing paint is not original.

The bench has been refreshed with new custom-made cushions and new upholstery in a graphic geometric woven textile in warm golden tan and deep brown, finished with coordinating piping. The center section has a long rectangular cushion, while the two outer sections have individually shaped rounded cushions.

The three sections are connected to one another but can be separated, making the piece particularly interesting from both a design and functional standpoint. When joined, they create the dramatic, continuous bench shown in the photographs.
