The chair retains its original hand-woven rush seat in very good, sound condition, with an attractive traditional pattern. The ash frame has developed a lovely warm, mellow colour and natural patina from age and use.

A particularly appealing example of the English country chair tradition and a handsome, decorative piece with excellent character.
