The piece features the traditional three-hill design, a symbolic reference to Golgotha, combining popular devotion with the sculptural style of the period. The stone block is distinguished by a delicate frontal bas-relief featuring a botanical motif, with vines and leaves enveloping the structure, and by a lower band with a bush-hammered finish that contrasts with the polished upper surface. The central hole at the top originally held the cross.
