Made in Norway, this chair combines the exceptional comfort for which Stressless has become known with a wonderfully characteristic late 20th-century design. The generously padded seat is upholstered in original, soft leather in an unusual, deep aubergine purple, creating a striking contrast to the black metal base. Both the chair and ottoman swivel on their round bases, while the reclining mechanism allows the chair to be gently adjusted to a relaxed sitting position. The original leather has developed a beautiful vintage character, marked by visible patina, creasing, and consistent wear. Rather than detracting from the piece, these signs of age give the leather a particularly appealing, lived-in look. Please see the photos for details of the condition. Together with the matching upholstered footstool, this Stressless Regent combines sculptural 1980s design, functionality, and exceptional comfort.
