Characterized by simple … Read more We present this elegant Italian mahogany desk, dating back to the mid-19th century, during the Louis-Philippe period. Characterized by simple lines and a lack of excessive ornamentation, the legs are crafted with refined turning. The warm mahogany hue and unique grain will warm the atmosphere of any room. The front features six practical drawers above the top and four drawers below, providing ample storage space for small desk items. Furthermore, the drawer under the right top features a lockable compartment, perfect for storing confidential items or documents. The top, upholstered in elegant black faux leather and embellished with a decorative gold frame, is comfortable for working. If you need additional storage space, the top is extendable, and two additional small pull-out shelves are available on either side. Although this desk was designed to be placed against a wall, its back is well-finished, making it suitable for placing in the center of a room. You can certainly consider placing this elegant desk in your office, living room, bedroom, or any other room in your home where you need to get work done without sacrificing elegance. The desk is in excellent condition, ready for use in your home. We have carried out a conservative restoration that has preserved its charming signs of aging (see all photos).
