Artisan-crafted from solid wood, the chairs have generous throne-like proportions, distressed gold-leaf frames and newly upholstered white leather.
Each frame is elaborately carved with floral garlands, scrolling foliage, shell-inspired ornament and decorative flourishes. The warm antique-gold finish emphasizes the sculptural details while retaining subtle variations and signs of age that give the pair authentic vintage character.

The enclosed bergère arms, high backs and substantial proportions create a commanding silhouette. The seats and backs have been professionally reupholstered in white leather with deep button tufting, providing a clean contrast against the richly gilded frames.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with minor age-related wear consistent with their 1950s date and previous use. The carved frames have been professionally refinished while retaining an intentionally distressed antique-gold appearance.
The white leather upholstery and interior padding have been newly renewed. Both chairs are solid, stable, comfortable and ready for use.
