Antique barley twist umbrella and stick stand, dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century (Victorian or Edwardian era). Open, spiral-turned woodwork (commonly referred to as "barley sugar twists") which gained massive popularity in traditional English furniture design.
The top features geometric wood slats forming dividers to keep multiple walking sticks or umbrellas upright and organized. The four main posts are crowned with turned decorative wooden finials. A metal catch basin sits at the base.
