Likely dating to the 1990s. I contacted Thayer Coggin directly about this armchair; although they were unable to identify the specific model number, they confirmed that the chair appears to be from their 1990s production. Original Thayer Coggin High Point, NC label remains attached underneath.

And most importantly: this is genuinely one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in. It has a deep, supportive seat with a wonderfully cushioned feel—the kind of chair you actually want to curl up in rather than just look at.

The design has a great transitional/MCM-inspired look: chunky architectural wood arms, clean lines, and generously padded seat and back cushions. It works especially well in a mid-century, organic modern, contemporary, or eclectic space.
