Beautiful pair of vintage Hickory Chair Regency armchairs in richly finished mahogany, featuring sculptural scroll arms, carved floral details, fluted legs, and original brass casters.
The chairs retain their original James River 2 upholstery, an elegant botanical and urn-patterned textile in muted blue, sage, dusty rose, ivory, and gray. The upholstery has developed lovely, even fading consistent with age, giving the fabric a softly aged character.
The feather/down-filled seat cushions provide a particularly comfortable sit. A wonderful pair with substantial presence and timeless traditional appeal.
