A discreet central drawer provides useful storage for writing supplies, correspondence, or household necessities while preserving the table’s graceful silhouette. Four slender cabriole legs continue seamlessly from the shaped apron and terminate in small scroll feet.
The warm walnut-toned finish has developed attractive variation and character, highlighting the carved decoration and gently timeworn surface. Finished on all four sides, the desk can be floated within a room rather than restricted to placement against a wall.
