Charming 1980s Murano art glass wall mirror in an unusual hand mirror-form silhouette, richly decorated with individually handcrafted applied glass flowers, clear ribbed glass leaves, scrolling glasswork, delicate rosettes, and gold leaf detailing beneath the glass.
The shaped mirrored center is surrounded by elaborate hand-worked glass with scalloped edging, while the elongated mirrored handle completes its distinctive silhouette. Mounted on its original shaped wood backing with hanging hardware.
The mirror retains its original transparent VETRI MURANO label numbered 005, identifying it as genuine Murano production.
A wonderfully decorative and uncommon piece of Venetian art glass, perfect for a powder room, dressing area, bedroom, or gallery wall.
Made in Murano, Italy, circa 1980s.
