A rustic hand-thrown terracotta amphora with a bulbous body and two loop handles rising from the shoulder to the neck.
The vessel is finished in a rich olive-green glaze, with the raw terracotta clay showing through at the rim and handle edges where the glaze has worn away.
A wavy incised band circles the shoulder, a decorative detail consistent with traditional Mediterranean pottery.
The form and finish suggest it was originally made in the early 20th century and served as a functional storage jar for oil, wine, or water.
