Design Plus Gallery presents the Saarinen Oval Dining Table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Part of Saarinen’s celebrated Pedestal Collection, this iconic design replaces traditional table legs with a single sculptural pedestal base. The oval marble top measures 78 inches wide and displays natural gray veining throughout the stone. It rests on a molded cast-aluminum pedestal base with Saarinen’s signature tulip-form profile. An authentic KnollStudio identification plaque is present underneath and references Saarinen’s 1956 design. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. The entire surface is discolored. There is a small chip along the edge of the marble, as shown in the photographs.
