Add a touch of historic Belle Époque elegance to your table landscape with this charming pair of antique French open salt cellars. Dating to the late 19th century, each individual salt service features a beautifully chiseled bronze circular ring stand elevated by three petite ball feet. The stands are adorned with vibrant, multicolored champlevé enamel work featuring scrolling floral motifs in shades of turquoise, white, red, and navy blue. The set includes its original, removable diamond-point cut-glass inserts designed to catch the light beautifully at the table. Completing this rare, intact ensemble are two matching miniature salt spoons with twisted-wire handles, capped with ball finials and matching enamel work on the back of the bowls. Perfect for adding character to a holiday table runner, a curated collection of French kitchenalia, or repurposing as whimsical trinket dishes on a vanity. I love the champlevé enamel and the adorable, twisted handle spoons.
The bases are 2” in diameter .5” tall.
The liners are 1.25” in diameter and .75” tall.
Spoons are 2.125” in length and bowls are .5625” wide.
