The Beer Train (created in 1996) is a particularly delightful work that combines two of Tomi Ungerer's greatest passions: Alsace and mechanical toys. Original print, numbered and signed by Tomi Ungerer. Perfect condition. Unframed. 40cm wide and 60cm high.
Tomi Ungerer (1931-2019) was a renowned Alsatian artist, illustrator, and author, celebrated worldwide for his free spirit and creative audacity. A true giant of children's literature and illustration, he has captivated generations of readers with essential masterpieces such as "The Three Robbers" and "Moon Man." A committed humanist, keen observer, and satirist with a sharp wit, he pursued an international career between New York, Ireland, and his native Strasbourg, which dedicated a unique museum to him during his lifetime.
