HTF American of Martinsville “Accord” Hutch & Buffet
We don’t get pieces like this very often! This is a hard-to-find, fully restored American of Martinsville “Accord” hutch and buffet, designed by legendary designer Merton Gershun. A seriously exceptional example of late-1950s American Mid-Century Modern design.
The Accord collection is instantly recognizable for its beautifully matched walnut grain, distinctive geometric detailing, tapered legs, and woven cane accents. This combination is absolutely stunning.
The buffet features two large drawers and three tall cane-front doors, providing a tremendous amount of concealed storage. The walnut grain is gorgeous throughout, and the raised-leg design gives the piece that quintessential light, floating MCM appearance.
The matching hutch sits beautifully above the buffet, adding generous open display storage while maintaining the clean, architectural lines that make the Accord collection so desirable.
