An extraordinary monumental vintage Stiffel table lamp combining neoclassical architecture, substantial scale, and refined traditional detailing. Rising to approximately 49 inches with its selected shade and finial, this is not a conventional bedside lamp—it is a commanding designer statement suited to an executive office, grand primary bedroom, library, substantial entry console, or richly layered living space.
The lamp begins with a square aged-brass plinth base resting on four small rounded feet. Above it, a sculptural architectural body rises through a series of stacked, gently flared brass sections before meeting a circular dish-form transition. A tall warm-ivory painted-metal column provides an elegant visual counterpoint to the aged brass and gives the lamp its unusually elongated, candlestick-inspired profile.
The original dual-light assembly accommodates two standard medium-base bulbs. Each socket operates independently by its own pull chain, allowing one or both lights to be illuminated as desired. This version is completed with two perfectly matched 12-inch brass ball chains and substantial porcelain-and-solid-brass decorative pulls.
