Fashioned from glossy white ceramic, the canisters feature elaborate cobalt-blue floral decoration inspired by traditional Dutch Delft pottery. Unlike many vintage kitchen canisters decorated only on the face, these pieces carry coordinating floral ornamentation around all four sides, giving the collection an especially finished appearance when displayed on open shelving or a kitchen dresser.

Each vessel features a softly molded architectural silhouette with scalloped foot, raised Rococo-style detailing and a removable fitted lid topped by a shaped finial. The canisters graduate beautifully from the large Suiker jar through the coffee and tea vessels to the smaller spice jars.

The original Dutch-language assortment includes Suiker, Thee, Koffie, Zout, Peper, Kerrie, Paprika, Nootmuskaat, Peterselie, Kaneel and Knoflook, representing sugar, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, curry, paprika, nutmeg, parsley, cinnamon and garlic.
