Rust-colored velvet, chromed metal tubular frame, five-star swivel base, and adjustable backrest. Made in Sweden, 1970s.
The armchair combines the enveloping feel of rust-colored velvet upholstery with an exposed chromed metal tubular frame, an integral part of the design. The high backrest and generous seat are defined by soft capitonné workmanship, while the back of the frame clearly reveals the construction and support system of the upholstery. The five-star swivel base and adjustable backrest complete a typology representative of 1970s Scandinavian design, characterized by the combination of comfort, tactile materials, and clearly visible metal structures.
