The collection includes:
Wallace "Chippendale" Triple Serving Platter (the currentowner's family used this tray during holidays in the 1960's) This signed, heavily plated vintage masterpiece features three distinct wells with an embossed tree-and-well central reservoir. Adorned with a classic scalloped Chippendale border, it is ideal for separating multiple holiday side dishes, appetizers, or sliced meats. The "Wallace Chippendale " signature is clearly visible on the back edge (pictured).

Reed & Barton Meat Carving Tray (Dated 1982 because it was given to the current owner as a wedding gift in 1982). This is a substantial oval serving platter featuring its original, beautifully grained wood insert. The perimeter groove captures juices perfectly while slicing prime rib, turkey, or ham, offering an seamless transition from kitchen prep to elegant tableside presentation. Based on the very distinctive ornate border pattern of this tray, the platter can be identified as the "King Francis" pattern produced by Reed & Barton. This specific high-quality hollowware design is heavily inspired by their world-famous, Renaissance-style "Francis I" sterling flatware pattern. The missing maker's mark and the presence of the remnants of a large gold rectangular tag on the back (pictured) align perfectly with the production timeline of the piece. Based upon the wood carving tray of a 9" width and 14" length, this tray is best used with a ham, duck, or sliced turkey rather than a whole turkey.

Both pieces feature exceptional weight, polished reflective surfaces, and classic ornate borders that effortlessly complement traditional or grandmillennial holiday decor. They have been in one family since their production. They are in excellent vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and occasional celebratory use. The silver plating retains a brilliant luster with minor micro-scratching. The wooden insert has been freshly cleaned and is free of deep cracks. Clean interiors, free of heavy tarnish, and ready for your holiday table.
