A rare matched pair of 1950s ceramic bud vases attributed to Bauer Pottery. Each features a slender, stylized leaf form with a small opening for displaying a single stem. The mint green speckled glaze is finished with smoky shading and metallic gold spray, creating dramatic variation as the pieces are viewed from different angles. Their tall, animated silhouettes look especially strong displayed together on a mantel, console, vanity, or bookshelf. The attribution is supported by an identical unmarked Bauer form with matching dimensions, as well as a documented Bauer fan vase in the same distinctive glaze treatment. Unmarked.
