.A wonderfully chic pair of vintage floral prints dating to the 1970s, presented in their original brushed chrome-tone frames with layered coral and silver matting.
Each composition features dramatically scaled blossoms rendered in a restrained palette of coral, ivory, pale aqua, and deep green. The crisp outlines and broad areas of color give the pair a strong graphic quality; somewhere between Pop botanical imagery and fashionable 1970s interior design.
The complementary compositions are distinct without being identical, allowing them to hang beautifully as a pair. Their substantial scale and sophisticated original framing make them particularly effective above a console, dresser, sofa, or pair of nightstands.
Each print is signed “de Jonge” in the lower right. The reverse retains a Donelle, Inc., Los Angeles framing label. Sold only as a pair.
