Design Plus Gallery presents the California King Smythson Platform Bed by Van Thiel & Co. for Restoration Hardware. Part of the RH Modern collection, the Smythson bed presents a streamlined architectural profile wrapped in embossed shagreen in a bronze tone, accented by brass trim outlining the headboard, footboard, and side rails. The tall rectangular headboard and lower footboard are defined by narrow metallic borders, while the platform construction incorporates wood slats for mattress support. The combination of textured surfaces, geometric paneling, and brass detailing gives the bed a distinctive contemporary character. This is a discontinued model with the brand and is in good condition with visible, minimal wear from usage. Missing the center slate support.
