Large, low, open oak bookcase from the 19th century.
A very beautiful and uncommon large model known as a breakfront. The deeper central section allows for the placement of large books or objects. These are among the rarest.
The bookcase is decorated with four medallions on the uprights. The uprights are also decorated with fluting.
It rests on a plinth.
Well-proportioned with simple lines.
Original shelves with small moldings. The shelf height can be adjusted using a rack and pinion system.
In superb condition with a beautiful patina.
