The round red casing, the black date window, and the graphic white numerals give the design its recognizable Space Age look. The calendar is fully mechanical. Both the day and the date can be set separately on the side, allowing the calendar to be reused year after year. The mechanism works well, and the typography forms a strong contrast with the bright red plastic casing.
