Pair of period art deco Scandinavian birch armchairs circa 1930.
Fine quality pair of Swedish birch armchairs with empire revival influences.
Shaped backrest with inset panels and an inlaid sunburst design. Rounded comfortable arms which link down to a turned ebonised decoration, which provides contrast to the golden birch. Later black leather seat covering with applied stud work. Both raised on 4 tapering legs.
Minor surface marks to woodwork. Ideal for use as a pair of chairs either side of a partners desk or multiple rooms around the home.
