bedsides are made of … Read more Vintage, antique, french, louis xv / louis xvi/ transition style pair of nightstands , circa 40's/50's.

bedsides are made of beech with indian rosewood veneer marquetery on the top , front and side panels.
the tops also have a wonderful floral décor typical of the era.

they are resting on long, sleek, thin, slightly curved legs, to conveniently fit into smaller areas or spaces. They both have a storage space measuring at: w 31 cm x d: 27 cm x h: 17 cm. Above the storage spaces, there are clean, fully functioning drawers with their original pull knobs, measuring at: w: 29 cm x d: 24 cm x h: 3.5 cm.

nightstands are in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structures( see photos). Some areas of slightly faded color on both tops, legs, side, fronts, drawers, storages and back panels (see photos.).
nota:
a mark or old repair on the lower edging of the storage of the left nightstand an old repair on the rear left side of the right nightstand but not visible once nightstands are in place.

pieces are solid, stable and practical.
