This authentic provincial piece of furniture, sometimes referred to as a ‘table à tirettes’, is characterised by its distinctive ‘sliding doors’ in the frame, which can be pulled out using geometrically shaped recessed handles between the table frame and the top, thus revealing the generous storage space beneath the tabletop.

Today, this charming, one-of-a-kind piece is suitable not only as a kitchen table or worktable, but also for displaying goods in retail settings.

The table frame consists of four tapered square legs and a frame with two sliding doors on one long side, behind which there are 2 storage spaces across the entire width. The tabletop, which protrudes all round, is secured to the frame using wooden dowels.
