we appreciate the unique craftsmanship of the wood, the two-plank tabletop with its mortise and tenon joints ensuring excellent durability.
the double-beveled edge of the tabletop adds a beautiful finish.
the turned wood base features a thick apron with two large drawers fitted with brass handles (which do not appear to be original).
the base is entirely pegged.
the wood has a beautiful, rich color with a lovely and unique patina from use.
we love the grain and the undeniable quality of the walnut, which gives the piece a significant presence.
there are some imperfections and small marks in the wood, consistent with its age.
