An impressive lion's head door knocker on a large door always makes for a grand and sophisticated entrance. This beautiful, solid, cast brass English door knocker has very fine detailing and dates from the early 1900s.
It is in very good antique condition with a mellow patina and normal wear from age and use. Functional and ready to display. Two black oxide bolts with washers will allow for mounting on doors measuring 1.75” thick. The striker is not included. If your door measures more than 1.75” thick, longer bolts are available upon request. An authentic decorative piece with lots of character and very characteristic of English quality and craftsmanship. .
