Late 19th century European silvered or "mercury" glass vase with a substantial baluster-form featuring a tall, gently flaring trumpet neck with a rounded and ring-molded body terminating in a broad circular pedestal foot. There is a hand-painted floral decoration encircling the upper body with loosely rendered blossoms in deep coral red and yellow surrounded by green leaves.
ORIGIN: Thought to be German, no maker's mark or provenance

Scattered losses, rubbing and fading to the painted floral design. Free of chips/breaks/cracks/repairs. The underside retains the central aperture associated with the manufacture of double-walled silvered glass.
