This exquisite pair of antique Meissen School candelabras, dating to approximately 1880, features intricate figural and floral porcelain craftsmanship. Each candelabra is designed to hold five candles, with the arms adorned with meticulously hand-painted flowers in vibrant hues. The base of each candelabra showcases a figural element: one depicting a woman in period attire holding a basket, and the other a man also in period dress, holding a similar basket. Both figures are surrounded by a lush arrangement of porcelain flowers and foliage at their base, adding to the rococo aesthetic. The candelabras exhibit delicate pastel coloration with gilded accents, characteristic of the Meissen tradition. These pieces, while unsigned, are exemplary of the high-quality porcelain work produced by the Meissen during the late 19th century.
