Likely dating to the 1920s or 1930s, this substantial wooden desk reflects the period’s interest in Jacobean and Old World Revival furniture. Its distinctive design features a generously sized rectangular writing surface, a single wide center drawer with two wooden knobs, turned legs, a stretcher-supported base, and open shelving at both ends.

The decorative end panels are particularly striking, incorporating sculptural cutout supports centered by large raised circular medallions. A repeating geometric border beneath the tabletop adds architectural definition and gives the desk an attractive appearance from every angle.
